Lens Flare Posters

Illustration  |  Self-initiated

A series of graphic art posters based around the shapes made by lens flares.

Flares in anamorphic lenses were popularised in the 80s and are common today, they make long horizontal lines of light with oval flare shapes rather than circles.

Cheap lenses have fewer components in the iris—making hexagonal or pentagonal flares rather than circular flares.

Just regular, old flare shapes.
